Right for withdrawal

It is a parental right to withdraw from RE should you not want your child to engage in this subject.  To do so, please make contact with the school office who will redirect you to the appropriate person.

Intent

We believe it is important to teach children about a wide range of faiths, enabling them to be inquisitive, resilient, respectful and accepting individuals, who have a greater understanding of the world around us.

Our aim is to teach children about religious beliefs and how these shape life and behaviour, developing their ability to make reasoned and informed judgements about religious and moral issues whilst also enhancing their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
