Enrichment
At Southtown Primary, we believe enrichment is an essential part of every child’s learning. Alongside the core curriculum, we offer a wide range of experiences that help children build confidence, curiosity and a love of learning. These opportunities are designed to broaden horizons, support wellbeing and strengthen skills for life, both in and beyond the classroom.
Our enrichment activities may include workshops, visiting speakers, practical learning sessions and themed events linked to the children’s interests and the topics they study. We also provide opportunities for creativity, sport, music and outdoor learning, ensuring that children can explore different strengths and discover new passions. Where possible, we aim to make these experiences inclusive and accessible, so every child can take part and feel valued.
We understand that parents play a key role in supporting children’s engagement. We will share clear information about upcoming enrichment opportunities, including dates, practical details and what children will need. If you have any questions or would like to discuss how enrichment can best support your child, please speak to the school team who are always happy to help.
